Planning, environment and public law barrister Katharine Elliot has joined Landmark Chambers.
Katharine (2016 Call) has a diverse practice encompassing planning, environment and public law with particular expertise in Court of Protection (both Health and Welfare and Property and Affairs), mental health, education, election and tax matters. Katharine's planning and environment expertise includes air and water pollution, conservation areas and heritage management and issues impacting residential property, including HMOs and Airbnb rental. Katharine regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Court, County Court, High Court, Court of Protection, First-Tier Tribunals and professional disciplinary panels, both as junior counsel and in her own right. Katharine is on the Attorney General's C Panel and is regularly instructed by both the GLD and HMRC to act in high value litigation.
