Student accommodation and housing approved in Bath

The Secretary of State by his Inspector Mr Nick Fagan has allowed an appeal and granted outline planning permission for 104 flats and student accommodation (186 bedrooms) in Bath. Despite strong opposition from Bath & North East Somerset Council, a local action group, and the neighbouring industrial estate landowner with Rule 6 party status, the Inspector concluded that the scheme complied with every single policy in the development plan.
