Brixton community succeeds in #fightthetower campaign

The community led #fightthetower campaign succeeded in the decision of the developers of the controversial tower in Brixton to withdraw their application following news that a report disclosed under the Environmental Information Regulations (following intervention from the Information Commissioner) revealed that GLA planning officers had recommended refusal.

This campaign has been reported in local press and Time Out.

Joe Thomas provided pro-bono advice and guidance to the campaign on the use of Environmental Information Regulations and appealed to the Information Commissioner Office (ICO).
