It was held by the Lands Tribunal on appeal (permission having been given on the grounds of general public importance) that a landlord was entitled to recover the costs of seeking declarations under section 27A of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 prior to carrying out relevant works via the service charge account.  Camilla Lamont appeared for the successful appellants.
