Green light given for redevelopment of Cherkley Court

Mole Valley Borough Council has resolved to approve the proposed redevelopment of Cherkley Court - part of the Beaverbrook estate and Lord Beaverbrook's country seat during World War II.  Cherkley Court will become a five star hotel,  intended to compete in the UK's luxury country house hotel market.  Facilities will  include two restaurants and an underground health club and spa.  The proposals also include a private members' 18-hole golf course and club house to be developed on the estate. Robert is advising the developers, Longshot Cherkley Court Ltd, led by Christopher Katkowski QC and instructed by Peter Edwards at Planning Perspectives LLP.
