Sizewell C in the Court of Appeal

Today, the Court of Appeal will begin to hear a challenge to the development consent for a new twin-reactor power station at Sizewell, Suffolk.

The issues in the case are: (i) whether the Secretary of State should have assessed the power station project together with its potable water supply as a single project or, failing that (ii), whether he should have assessed the cumulative effect of the two projects.
