The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) has published a report highlighting the evidence heard by the Inquiry of sexual abuse against children by members of the Anglican Church. The report, described by the UK media as “scathing” and “damning”, examines the details of multiple allegations against clergy and laity and the failure of the Church to protect those affected by these devasting crimes. Media coverage includes articles in the Guardian, Times, Telegraph, Independent, Daily Mail and Mirror, as well as on the BBC News. Fiona Scolding QC acted as lead counsel to the Inquiry, assisted by Ben Fullbrook.
