Today (13 February 2023), Holgate J. will be hearing R (Annington Property & others) v Secretary of State for Defence; Annington Property v Secretary of State for Defence. There are two judicial reviews and a Part 8 claim being heard together.

The proceedings seek to challenge on various grounds the legality of the Ministry of Defence's attempt to enfranchise certain properties which form part of the Married Quarters Estate leased to the Ministry of Defence by the Annington group.
