Newlink Business Park, Newark

Graeme advised the Appellant, Simons/Tritax for 2 years on expert evidence and strategy for a 400,000 sqf logistics and distribution development (an extension to existing Newlink Business Park - home to Currys PC World’s national distribution centre). The development will create 500 jobs and £30m investment to help secure Newark’s growth and economic development. When permission was refused, an Inquiry was requested but a Hearing was listed. Prior to the Hearing, the Council withdrew its opposition and appeal went to written representations (3rd party objections). Permission granted November 2022. The site is phase 1 of a much larger logistics development being promoted.
