Zia Bhaloo QC and Myriam Stacey QC have been named as the Chair and Deputy Chair of Landmark Chambers' property group with immediate effect.
Zia and Myriam succeed David Holland QC as head of the group. David becomes Joint Head of Chambers working alongside Reuben Taylor QC to provide direction and leadership to Chambers whilst maintaining an active role in the property group as one of its leading silks.
Zia Bhaloo QC said: “I’m delighted to succeed David as head of the property group at Landmark and I look forward to building on all of the sterling work that he has done over the years. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for his leadership and vision. The property group is stronger now than it ever has been and I look forward to assisting in continuing to provide the best service possible to our clients and attracting the best talent to Chambers.”
New Deputy Chair Myriam Stacey QC said: “It’s a privilege to be able to support Zia in leading the group. It’s an exciting time for Landmark as the property group has a formidable range of expertise across all levels of call and is very well placed to go from strength to strength.”
Outgoing property group Chair David Holland QC said: “The group is fortunate that Zia and Myriam have agreed to take on these roles. I have no hesitation in leaving the leadership of the group in their capable hands and look forward to lending my support as they develop Landmark’s property services still further.”
