March update to the Noddy ‘No-nonsense’ Guide published

Noddy Guide March 2023

The March 2023 update has been published to the Noddy ‘No-nonsense’ Guide to SEN Law 2023, co-authored by Leon Glenister alongside David Wolfe KC.

The Noddy ‘No-nonsense’ Guide to SEN Law brings together the relevant legal provisions, the codes of practice, Government guidance and case law. It is a free public resource to assist all those who deal with Special Educational Needs (SEN) law in England – including judges, legal practitioners, local authorities, and parents. This latest update covers all relevant case law since the last update in October 2022, and the new 2023 update includes a fully revised and expanded section “Where parents seek non-school placement such as EOTAS (EHCP section I)” which covers recent judgments, including DM v Cornwall, and legal issues that arise in relation to EOTAS packages. This follows the seminar hosted by Landmark Chambers in association with Rook Irwin Sweeney, in which Leon Glenister spoke.

Alongside the PDF, an interactive version of the Guide is hosted on the Support SEND Kids site, giving readers the chance to comment, ask questions and search more easily.
