A ticket tout who had refused to comply with a court order requiring him to make a witness statement detailing the allegedly unlawful ticket transactions in which he had been involved was in contempt of court. There was nothing unfair about the hearing by which he had been committed to prison and he had not been entitled to invoke the privilege against self-incrimination.
