Landmark’s Christopher Jacobs appears in Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry

The high profile Post Office Horizon IT Public Inquiry continues to receive extensive media attention. The inquiry has captured the public imagination in part due to the ITV drama about it which aired over the Christmas holidays, and which appears to have triggered a swift reaction from the Government in introducing legislation to overturn the convictions of many of the sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses involved.

The inquiry is being covered live by the BBC each day and yesterday, 12 January 2024, Landmark’s Christopher Jacobs was featured. Christopher is representing 156 subpostmasters and subpostmistresses involved - 49 of whom said they were told by the Post Office that they were the only one who had reported issues with the Horizon System, and 61 were threatened with prosecution.
