Landmark Chambers is pleased to announce the arrival of Karl Laird and Crash Wigley.

Karl Laird is a leading expert in public and administrative law. In recent years he has appeared in numerous cases raising novel and complex points of law. Reflecting this, Chambers and Partners recognise him as Up and Coming and is described as a "very impressive drafter" and a "shrewd but insightful tactician in litigation". He has a strong academic background that includes teaching public law at the University of Oxford and other leading universities. His academic work has been cited on numerous occasions including by the Supreme Court.

Crash Wigley is a skilled barrister with a diverse practice in public, planning, environmental, and property law. In public and administrative law, she represents both claimants and public authorities, bringing comprehensive expertise in immigration law, housing and homelessness law, education law, Equality Act claims, and human rights matters. Crash is a Welsh speaker and has particular interest in Welsh law and devolution matters. Crash is dedicated to advancing access to justice and promoting equitable legal representation. Her advocacy is driven by a strong belief in upholding the rights of individuals and ensuring that legal support is available to all, regardless of background or circumstance. Crash previously held the position of Judicial Assistant at the Supreme Court to Lord Lloyd-Jones JSC.
