The United Kingdom Environmental Law Association is holding its annual conference this weekend (1 - 3 July) in Brighton.
The theme of the conference is "'From Global to Local' - how international law affects UK practice in energy, infrastructure, nature conservation and habitats, planning, regulation and litigation".
James Maurici QC is speaking in a plenary session entitled, "Global environmental issues in practice - the law, the client and the practicalities".
The title of his talk is "International law in the domestic practice - advice for practitioners on how international and comparative law arises in domestic caselaw".
