Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse closes its final hearing

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse has now closed its final hearing.  The hearing considered the effective leadership of child protection and heard evidence from leaders from a range of sectors and organisations.  The Inquiry has conducted 15 separate investigations spanning a period of over four years and is likely to produce its final report in 2022. Ben Fullbrook appeared as Junior Counsel to the effective leadership investigation. Galina Ward appeared on behalf of the Secretary of State for Education.
