Landmark Chambers is delighted to announce that eight of our barristers have been appointed as legal counsel to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (‘EHRC’).  The panel of counsel plays an important role in helping the Commission to achieve its objectives which include reducing inequality, eliminating discrimination and protecting human rights.

David Lock QC, Fiona Scolding QC, Tim Buley QC and Alex Goodman have been appointed to the A Panel.

Samantha Broadfoot QC, and Justin Bates have been appointed to the B Panel, with Sasha Blackmore and Leon Glenister appointed to the C Panel.

Following an open and vigorous competition, the appointments for selected counsel run for four years.

Members of the Commission’s panel of counsel are now the preferred providers of external legal services, including representation and advice, supporting the work of the EHRC across the equality and human rights spheres in domestic and European courts.

Joint Head of Chambers, Paul Brown QC said:

We are proud that a number of our members have been re-appointed and newly appointed to this panel, reflecting the excellence of Landmark’s public law and human rights practice.
