East Anglia One North and East Anglia Two Offshore Windfarms – Development Consent Orders sought by Scottish Power Renewables

Development Consent Order Examination Hearing took place on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd December 2020. Graeme represented Substation Action Save East Suffolk at the Issue Specific Examination Hearings concerning matters such as cumulative effects, site selection, design and Rochdale envelope, landscape and visual effects and heritage impact. SASES oppose the onshore infrastructure elements of the two offshore windfarms, including two Scottish Power substations, a National Grid substation, and associated infrastructure. The Examination closed in June 2021 and a decision by the Secretary of State is expected in early 2022.
