On 30.06.23, the Divisional Court (Dingemans LJ and Garnham J) heard argument in the Cabinet Office’s challenge to the decision of the Chair of the UK Covid-19 Inquiry to require the disclosure of various documents (in particular unredacted WhatsApp messages and notebooks) to the Inquiry. The claim has generated significant media attention: see here, here and here. The Court reserved judgment.
