The trial of an unopposed lease renewal of BMW’s showroom on Park Lane. The main issues were the rent and lease terms, including whether a landlord break clause should be included. After a 5 day hearing the judge (HHJ Monty KC) refused to include a break clause and determined the rent to be £1.4m, index linked.
