This webinar will focus on four recent rating cases and their wider implications for rates mitigation schemes. The cases up for discussion are the recent Supreme Court decision in Hurstwood Properties v Rossendale BC [2021] UKSC 16, and the decisions in R (PHE) v Harlow DC [2021] EWHC 909 (Admin), London Borough of Merton v Nuffield Health [2021] EWCA Civ 826 and R (oao Preservation and Promotion of the Arts Ltd) v Greater Manchester Magistrates’ Court [2020] EWHC 2435 (Admin).
