Overview

Residential leasehold service charge disputes are often complex. These matters frequently involve arguments of contractual construction and compliance with layers of statutory regulation. Navigating the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) can be confusing for litigators who are used to the civil procedure rules in the courts. This session will provide delegates with an introduction to three key topics that will help junior property litigators navigate leasehold service charge disputes. The talks will provide an overview of the relevant legal framework, with practical tips on how to deal with the proceedings in the tribunal.

These seminars are designed to introduce key topics that are likely to crop up for property litigators. The talks will provide an overview of the legal and procedural landscape with plenty of time for questions from delegates.
