Birmingham Eastside Midland Metro Tram extension

The Secretary of State has made a Transport and Works Act order authorising an extension to the Midland Metro tram system. The extension will connect the existing system to the HS2 station at Curzon Street, and to Digbeth. The scheme will provide economic benefits to the Eastside area of Birmingham linking proposed key developments in Eastside to the city centre.
