Landmark Chambers is pleased to announce that Justin Bates has been nominated for the “Junior Pro Bono Barrister of the Year” award at the 2020 Bar Pro Bono awards, with the winner announced on 4 November 2020.

Landmark Chambers has a long and proud tradition of supporting pro bono work. Numerous members act as Reviewers for Advocate (the Bar Pro Bono Unit) and the vast majority of members undertake pro bono work over the course of a year. They are actively supported by our clerks including, in particular, Ben Connor (who won a 2019 Bar Pro Bono award for his work with Peter Campbell of 39 Essex on providing pro bono support for Mencap).
