South Downs National Park Local Plan examination hearings begin

Today the examination hearings began into the Souths Downs Local Plan made by the South Downs National Park Authority. It is the first Local Plan to cover the whole of England’s newest National Park. The South Downs is the third largest National Park in the country with a population greater than all the other National Parks in England combined. The Inspector is Brian Simms. Hearings are on-going this week and resume again for two more weeks in December. Click here for more information. Richard Turney and Toby Fisher have previously provided advice to the National Park Authority on its Local Plan.
