Programme
As part of the Quarter Day series, a panel from Landmark’s Property Team will consider how to potentially get a quick decision as an alternative to, or within, the litigation process. The need to resolve disputes as early as possible is today becoming more and more important given the seemingly ever-increasing delays in litigation. The purpose of this seminar is to open up debate upon various procedures which may assist in this process, some of which are less well known, such as vendor and purchaser summonses and early neutral evaluation procedures.
Detailed programme:
• Introduction by Chair - Lord Carnwath
• Early neutral evaluation and vendor and purchaser summons - Katharine Holland QC
• Expert Determination - Andy Creer
• Preliminary Issues/Split Trials/Expedition - Kate Traynor
