Landmark Chambers will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday 1st April, 2020 from 11am-12pm to discuss planning during the Covid-19 crisis. Places will be complimentary and speakers include Charles Banner QC (chair), Richard Turney, Anjoli Foster and Matthew Henderson.

The webinar will consider the following issues:
Planning appeals – what are the options to keep the appeal system functioning alongside social-distancing;
The Planning Court – the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on practice and procedure in the Planning Court, including suggestions on managing on-going cases and dealing with new cases;
Shops, pubs and restaurants – consideration of the proposed changes to permitted development rights for pubs and restaurants, and the approach to planning enforcement during the COVID-19 crisis; and
Preserving and amending planning permissions – options for keeping a planning permission alive during the COVID-19 crisis and how to amend a planning permission in response to the crisis.
