Inquiry

Outcome of A21 inquiries

The Secretaries of State have decided, following concurrent inquiries in 2013, to make a range of orders and to grant two listed building consent applications to provide for the dualling of 4.1km of the A21 trunk road between Tonbridge and Pembury, Kent, in place of the existing single carriageway. Stephen Whale of Landmark Chambers successfully represented the applicant Highways Agency. Stephen has since the A21 inquiries represented the Agency at the A556 development consent order examination in Cheshire, and this July he will represent the Agency at the A160 development consent order examination in Lincolnshire.
