McCarthy & Stone gets planning permission and full costs award

McCarthy & Stone Retirement Lifestyles Ltd has secured planning permission on appeal for 31 new apartments in Ruscombe, Wokingham.  The Council had refused planning permission on design grounds contrary to officer recommendation.  The appeal Inspector, Simon Warder  MA BSc(Hons) DipUD(Dist) MRTPI rejected the Council's case and awarded McCarthys all its costs.  Appeal reference APP/X0360/W/17/3170553​.
