Regularly instructed by the Secretary of State in respect of compensation claims arising out of the compulsory purchase of land required for the construction of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Recent examples include the £20m claim made by Roadchef in respect of land acquired at the Maidstone Motorway Service Area; and the multi-million pound claim by a P&O subsidiary in respect of works beneath King's Cross station.
