Alistair Mills appeared in the Court of Appeal (Respondent) and the High Court (Claimant) ([2014] EWHC 2476 (Admin)), on both occasions led by Christopher Katkowski QC. This case concerned the meaning of “any other harm” in the Green Belt policies in the NPPF. The Court of Appeal overturned the decision of Patterson J in the High Court, finding that the meaning of “any other harm” meant any harm at all, and was not restricted to harm relating to the Green Belt.
