R. (on the application of Hawksworth Securities Plc) v Peterborough City Council [2016] EWHC 1870 (Admin)

This case concerns the relevance of alternative sites when a local planning authority is considering a planning application for development that complies with policy. The Judge decided that the authority is entitled but not bound to take alternatives into account, and refused to grant permission to apply for judicial review.
