R (On The Application Of British Pregnancy Advisory Service) v Secretary of State for Health & Social Care [2019] EWHC 1397 (Admin)
Successfully defended the Secretary of State’s construction of the words “the pregnancy has not exceeded its twenty-fourth week” in the Abortion Act 1967 s.1(1)(a): a woman would have exceeded her 24th week of pregnancy from midnight on the expiration of her 24th week.
