Court refuses injunction to stop Privy Council consdidering Royal Charter on Press Regulation

The High Court (Richards LJ and Sales J) this morning rejected the Press Board of finance’s application for permission for judicial review and an injunction to stop the Privy Council considering the cross Party Royal Charter on press regulation.

Nathalie Lieven QC successfully represented the Secretary of State and members of the Privy Council.
