Poole: why can’t the law do more for vulnerable children?

Stephen Knafler QC has written an article published on the Legal Action Group Social Care Law website discussing the Supreme Court decision in Poole BC v GN and CN [2019] UKSC 25, [2019] 2 WLR 1478, that Poole did not owe vulnerable children a duty to take reasonable care to exercise its functions under the Children Act 1989 so as to protect them from injury resulting from the extremely anti-social conduct of neighbours.
