Noddy ‘No-nonsense’ Guide update published

Noddy Guide Updated Nov 22

Today, an update has been published to the Noddy ‘No-nonsense’ Guide to SEN Law, co-authored by Leon Glenister alongside David Wolfe KC. The updated guide is available here.

The Noddy ‘No-nonsense’ Guide to SEN Law brings together the relevant legal provisions, the codes of practice, Government guidance and case law. It is a free public resource to assist all those who deal with Special Educational Needs (SEN) law in England – including judges, legal practitioners, local authorities, and parents. This latest update covers all relevant case law since the last publication in March 2022, and following a request from a reader, contains new content on determining which local authority is a responsible for a child and young person’s SEN provision.

Alongside the PDF, an interactive version of the Guide is hosted on the Support SEND Kids site, giving readers the chance to comment, ask questions and search more easily.
