The Grand Final of Landmark Chambers' Annual Property Law Moot Competition 2026

The Grand Final of Landmark Chambers Annual Property Law Moot Competition

Last Thursday (12 February), we were delighted to host the Grand Final of Landmark Chambers’ Annual Property Law Moot Competition at the iconic Royal Courts of Justice, with HH Judge Dight CBE presiding.

A huge well done to every competitor for their dedication and impressive preparation throughout the competition. The standard of work continues to impress us each year.

We would like to congratulate the winning competitors, Jacob Simmonds (University of Cambridge) and Rowan Lightfoot (University of Cambridge). Congratulations, also, to both joint runners-up, Theodore Furniss (The University of Law) and Ameerah Khan (The University of Law).

We were also delighted to have the following Landmark members participate in the Grand Final proceedings, Tim Morshead KCNic Taggart and Mattie Green.

Thank you to all the teams who took part in this year’s competition. We remain consistently impressed by the talent displayed by aspiring property law practitioners.

We are extremely grateful to HH Judge Dight CBE for presiding over the Grand Final once again.

If you would like to register your interest in participating in Landmark Chambers’ next Property Law Moot competition, please email: propertymoot@landmarkchambers.co.uk. Please note that Landmark Chambers will only accept one team per University and would therefore prefer to be contacted by a member of faculty or the person responsible for the organisation of external moots.
