The long-awaited first report from the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry has been published today, setting out a series of key recommendations focused on compensation and redress for those affected.
One of the key recommendations from the inquiry is the establishment of a standing public body to provide financial redress to individuals wronged by public bodies. A major step toward accountability and justice. A further significant recommendation is that family members of affected sub-postmasters should be provided with redress.
Christopher Jacobs played a pivotal role in the inquiry by representing 156 sub-postmasters.
