Miranda Butler Recognised in The Lawyer Hot 100 2026

Miranda Butler has been named in The Lawyer Hot 100 2026, their annual list recognising the most influential and innovative lawyers shaping the UK’s legal profession.

The Lawyer Hot 100 highlights outstanding practitioners from across private practice, the Bar and in-house roles who have made a significant impact over the past year. Miranda’s inclusion reflects her standing as a leading public law, human rights and immigration practitioner, as well as her wider contribution to the profession.

Miranda has a well-established practice in complex judicial review, detention and trafficking cases. Alongside her work at the Bar, she is a Deputy Upper Tribunal Judge in the Immigration and Asylum Chamber and a co-founder of the Ukraine Advice Project, which provides free legal assistance to people fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.

Commenting on the recognition, Miranda said: “It is an honour to be included in The Lawyer Hot 100. “It’s encouraging to see work in public law and human rights recognised in this way, particularly given the importance of these issues at the moment.”
