Judicial Review dismissed in Wimbledon development case

A Judicial Review of the grant of planning permission for the extension of the All England Club including an 8,000 show court for the Wimbledon Championship, 38 new lawn tennis courts and improvements to the neighbouring Wimbledon Park and lake was dismissed on 21st July by Mr Justice Saini.

The judgment considers when and how deliverability may be a material consideration in planning decision making and also the correct interpretation of paragraphs 202 and 103 of the NPPF.
