James Maurici KC has been interviewed by journalist Vicky Spratt in the opening episode of BBC Radio 4’s new series Housing Britain. His contribution begins 21 minutes into the episode.
The first episode, titled “Build Baby Build”, was broadcast earlier today at 11am and is available to listen on-demand here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002n7ls. The programme explores whether the Labour government can meet its ambitious target of delivering 1.5 million new homes.
In the wider series, Vicky Spratt, housing and society correspondent for the i Paper, travels across Britain to examine what has gone wrong with Britain’s housing system and what can be done to fix it. Contributors to the programme include Dame Kate Barker, Stephen Reed MP, Matthew Pennycook MP and Baron Michael Gove.
