IWD 2026 Equality in chambers concerted effort Galina Ward KC and Andrew Byass 1

Galina Ward KC and Andrew Byass, Chair of Landmark Chambers’ Equality, Diversity and Wellbeing Committee, have co-written an article for Counsel Magazine to mark International Women’s Day 2026, explaining how Chambers’ Retention of Women Working Party developed a comprehensive programme for change under the Women in Law Pledge. • Why signing the Women in Law Pledge and setting credible, interlinked targets helped turn intent into impact.
