Crowborough Shield, a local residents’ group, has issued a judicial review claim challenging the Home Office’s process for approving the conversion of the Crowborough Training Camp into an asylum accommodation centre.
The challenge focuses on the lawfulness of the decision-making process, including alleged failures in consultation, transparency and compliance with planning and environmental requirements.
