Graeme has advised and represented Tritax/Simons for 4 years on the (phased) development of a 132,000m2 “big box” strategic scale logistics employment scheme (an extension to the existing Newlink Business Park - home to Currys PC World’s national distribution centre). Phase 1 (37,000m2) was granted on appeal in November 2022 and is now being built out. Graeme also led and represented a team of experts promoting Phase 2 (95,000m2) for inclusion in the Newark Development Plan DPD, (Examination in Public Hearings Nov 2024) and advised on the Phase 2 planning application. Planning permission for Phase 2 was granted in December 2025. The scheme will generate c.£90million investment and the creation of c.1500 direct jobs.
