High Court allows Wild Justice challenge to development affecting wildlife in Ceibwr Bay, Pembrokeshire

Press release WJ v PCNPA

The High Court has handed down judgment in R (Wild Justice) v Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority [2025] EWHC 2249 (Admin), which concerned a claim for judicial review of a decision to grant permission for development affecting wildlife in Ceibwr Bay, Pembrokeshire.

Eyre J held that the Authority had breached section 100D of the Local Government Act 1972 and that the permission should therefore be quashed.

Barney McCay acted for Wild Justice, led by David Wolfe KC. He was instructed by Leigh Day.
