Graeme is advising and representing Defence Infrastructure Organisation, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, at the ongoing Wiltshire Local Plan Review Examination in Public, promoting the allocation of Azimghur Barracks (currently an omission site) for a new mixed-use community development of c.500 dwellings and a local centre and the retention and/or change of use of some existing military hangars, buildings and land. (Development to begin after Army vacates in 2029 and taking account of safeguarding area around the existing Satellite Ground Station on adjoining land at MOD Colerne.) The site has potential for a future further phase for large scale mixed use/employment development.
