Guildford Local Plan challenges rejected

Sir Duncan Ouseley sitting as a High Court Judge has rejected 3 challenges to the Guildford Local Plan: see R (Compton Parish Council & Others) v Guildford Borough Council & others [2019] EWHC 3242 (Admin). The judgment includes consideration of the approach to be taken by authorities looking to release Green Belt land through the development plan process. There is also consideration of SEA and habitats issues. A copy of the judgment can be found here.
