ROLE UK is a not-for-profit organisation that works to strengthen the rule of law in developing countries through supporting the provision of pro bono legal and judicial expertise, for instance by facilitating assignments that address rule of law and poverty reduction goals. The organisation works closely with the Department for International Development, the judiciary, and legal professionals in order to achieve its objectives.
David is looking forward to drawing on his experiences in the voluntary sector, the Bar Council, and local government to help lead ROLE UK as it develops and grows in the future.
