Court orders to lifting of the suspension of Welsh Assembly Member

David Lock QC appeared today for Welsh Assembly Member, Mr Nick Ramsay, in his challenge to his suspension from the Welsh Group of Conservative Members of the Assembly.  HHJ Russen, sitting as a Judge of the High Court, order Mr Ramsay’s suspension to be lifted so as to enable Mr Ramsay to be able to return to work fully as an Assembly member. A full trial of the claim is due to take place between 19 and 21 February 2020 in Bristol or Cardiff. Details of the case can be found here.
