Historic Parks and Gardens Trust v Minister of State for Housing and others (Holocaust Memorial)

The Court of Appeal has today (20th July 2022) refused the government permission to appeal against the order quashing planning permission for the Holocaust Memorial in Victoria Palace Gardens in Westminster. Andrews LJ observed that the judge’s construction of the 1900 Act was plainly correct and that the Act cannot be “wished away”.
